1.     Early Interventionist- Special Educator with Diploma in Deafblindness. The person will be required to work with the deafblind multi-sensory impaired children of the early intervention age group. The person will be responsible for assessing the child, developing and implementing the Individualized Educational Program of the child as well as counselling and guiding the parents.
The  gross salary would be approximately 14000/-.

2.     CBR worker- Minimum qualification 12th pass with diploma in special education or experience of field work.
The person would be responsible for working with children in their homes in Delhi. They would be required to assess the child and develop the Individualised Educational Plan, as well work with families
The gross salary would be approximately 10000/-

Organization Background

With the support of Sense International (India), Regional Learning Centre on Deafblindness in Northern India was established at National Association for the Blind Delhi in year 2007.
National Association for the Blind was registered in 1979 with the focus to work for empowerment of persons with visual impairment. It is also one of the limited institutes in the region working in the area of deafblindness and multiple disabilities (Visually impairment with additional disabilities). It has more than 18 years of experience in working with deafblind/multi-sensory impaired children. Sense International (India) has partnered with NAB in running its deafblind unit for  nearly 16 years.
Apart from providing centre based intervention it is also reaching out to children through their home based program.
